Hi,
Can anybody please help?...
I just bought Navigator 6 software and maps of W.E. with pre-installed safety cameras. But the CAMERAS dont seem to exist. All the safety camera icons are greyed out on my PDA. And the camera database does not appear on the CD. Have I been duped?
The only ungreyed camera icon on my phone is the Update one - but that just fails (says check wireless connection - which is perfect since web and emails all ok).
How do I get the camera database? |

i think your talking about the tomtom cameras youll need to resgster for a plus account and then you should be able to get the tomtom cameras for a trail period.
if you want the camera database from this site then youl need to sign up for them you could then either take the 2 pounds for one month or 19 pounds for the year, personally id used the nochex payment option as it usually instant access _________________ currently using aponia truck navigation on windows phone. Alix,
Thanks - did find out I could subscribe but the advertising blurb (and the Navigator 6 box, and the leaflets inside) clearly say the cameras are pre-installed - so my question is where are they? I've just asked TomTom support to explain so maybe we'll get the answer that way. Thanks for the tip about getting them on PocketGps - I may just do that - they are cheaper too! |

With my navigator 6 there is a free 30 day membership to tomtom plus. All I had to do was register and I was able to get the cams, and an update no problem. _________________ If it ain't broke, fix it 'till it is! |
