Hi
I am subscribed to both TT and PGPS safety cameras, and I thought I would compare to see how may each had for the different types/speeds. I got the figures OK via POI edit for the PGPS ov2 files. When I look at the TT cab files via WinZip, I see the ov2 file in there. However, POI edit will not open it, saying it is an invalid ov2 file. I also tried running dumpov2.exe - this created a .asc file, but all it had in was the following header:-

; Readable locations in C:\tmp\Safety_Cam_UK_30_TomTom.ov2
;
; Longitude, Latitude, "Name"
; ========== ============ ==================================================

The bmp files in the cab open OK so I don't think the file is corrupt, plus all the TT files give the same problem. Has anybody managed to read the TT files?

Further to my previous post.
The .cab files are in the downloads section of TT Home. Just checked the .ov2 files installed on the TT and they give the same error.

The TomTom installed Camera files are coded, as such they cannot be edited or removed. You can however deselect them by unticking them and using the ones from this site.
The general opinion is that they have poor coverage and accuracy.

Thanks
