Mio Bluetooth and Linux

Anyone tried talking to a Mio from a linux box? I got kioobex_start running on a Knoppix boot last night and it can roam the Mio folders, but does not show the contents of some of them that I know have contents. Also a couple of files I tried downloading that looked interesting came out as zero size - which I very much doubt.
