hw6915 and TomTom

Hope this is the right section!

I got one of these early August and have only just got round to setting it up. 2 questions if I may.....

How do I find out what version of TomTom is on there without activating? If (as I suspect) it is V5 how do I go on to get V6?

If you want version 6, you have to go out and buy it.
