I have a TT710 which is so much better than the via michelin satnav I had in every way apart from it's responce time. With my last system if I missed a turn it updated almost imediatly but TT has a delay.
When I make a turn or come upto a side street the display is always lagging a little behind, not much and normally this is no problem but if you miss a turn it quite often tells you to take the next left as you pass it and so on so you have to slow down or stop for a few seconds while it sorts it's self out.
I'm using the standard SD card that came with tghe unit and was wondering if this would be fixed if I bought a newer high speed card or is TT still slow to react no matter what card you use.
Many thanks for your time.

Thanks for that, a bit supprised that my last sat nav was so much faster and this one can't even keep up with your position on a straight road but the rest makes up for it.

it needs some other 710 owners to compare performance with.. just to make sure yours is going as it should..
my comment was aimed more at the faster card not helping factor..

The number of POI categories you have enabled to display can make quite a difference to the screen update speed. Try turning them all off temporarily and see if that makes a difference.
However I've heard a few comments that the new models are not quite as smooth scrolling as the old range were. |

I will try that tomorrow, it does scroll smoothly enough but just turns the corner a few seconds after the car. |
