POI on TT6

Hi All,

Got tomtom 6 working OK on mio P350.

Found a problem or glitch ?? When I add a POI to the map like the speed camera database, the programme runs very very slow. You can move around 200 yards beforwe the map updates !!

Am i adding the POI's to the wrong place (this is where they where in TT5 5.21)

Also I cant get Active Sync to stop automatic. i have followed the guide in a previous thread to create a dummy server but it does not work with me

Can any one help

I don't use ActivSync so can't help there.

If you have Enabled the POI's this is what is slowing the display down.

If you want to be Warned of the Cameras, use Change Preferences | Manage POI | Warn When Near instead.

The problem is when i add them to the map folder. The system is fine when switched on, but as soon as the mio gets a sat lock, then the system slows down. i have all POI's turned off and it is still the same. Once i delete the POI file then all is ok again.


I have tried this with several different POI files, speed camera, UK Petrol, KFC etc. Each one loaded singular and it makes no difference.

When i reload TT5 5.21 it all works fine.

Is the mio P350 not capable of running TT6 ??
