Navman + Brazil

I've got a Navman PIN570 which I got when I was based in Australia. I have recently been posted to Brazil for an extended stay with my company.

I have brought the PIN with me and I am using it as a PDA but I would like to get the GPS side working.

I've asked Navman via email about their plans for South America with no replies (their site has said coming soon for over 6 months now)

I've attemped to use the Teletype software (which I gather is clunky, inaccurate and does not work with Navman Hardware)

and the only other option I can see is the new Garmin maps but before putting more cash down is there a way to get the Garmin mapsource maps to work with a Pin 570?

or is there another option out there for Street navigation in Brazil with my existing hardware?
