POI Extended Warnings program

Hi peeps

Apologies if this is in the wrong forum, but has any1 used this POI Extended Warnings program? I found it on a different area of this site which gives this link: http://www.tomtomsatnav.info/poiw.html

Its supposed to let you add extra sounds to TomTom GOs and Navigator.

However, when i followed the instructions, the 1st is to open a file called navigator.exe from the 'originals' folder, but it's not in there, and neither is the data.chk file which is part of the 2nd instruction.

Does anybody know what i'm doing wrong?

IIRC you are using TomTom Navigator 5,21 the two files that POIExtend needs to work with are both found/ located in the following :
My Device/ Program Files/ Navigator

These files need to be copied to the PC in the correct folder that POIExtend looks at, once you have finished messing around creating your own data.chk and coresponding TomTom.exe file you simply copy the files back to there original location. Soft Reset the device and configure your new warnings.

As allways with this type of work please make sure you have a full back-up/ copy of the memory card BEFORE you start, if it goes wrong this will be your only recovery method - Mike
