Confused over SD card speeds

Looking for a 2Gb SD Card, but they seem to be available with different speeds. I've seen them from 50X up to 150X, while a great many don't show any speed at all. I'm currently using a ByteStore 1GB which is described as "Hi-Speed" on my iPAQ 1940 and it seems to run ttn5.1 ok. But I'd appreciate advice as to what speed I should go for.

Also does anyone know if I can use a 2Gb card in a iPAQ 1940 please?

As far as I am aware the speed of the card is primarily concerned with the writing speed rather than the reading speed. And then only if the device supports it. Tne main reason for fast cards is for use in digital cameras, especially the ones that can take pictures continuously.
