LOOX N520 PDA / GPS bundle discontinued?

Hi all - first post on PocketGPSWorld.

I've looking of a PDA / GPS bundle for a couple of months now, and having read a glowing report in PCPro on the Fujitsu-Siemens LOOX N520 with Navigon 5 MN5 and the car kit, I thought I'd found the one for me. I needed decent PDA performance, Wireless LAN (802.11g) and the integrated GPS receiver was a nice touch. Problem is - everywhere I go to buy it, I get told it is discontinued.

Has anyone got one of these already? Would you recommend it?
Can anyone recommend something equal or better?

Do you mean N520/Navigon bundle or N520 itself?

N520 is fairly new I cannot imagine it is disontinued though new models are coming out.

I'm told the bundle is discontinued. I can get the PDA, software, cradle and car charger separately, but it adds almost £80 to the bill and I don't like getting taken for a ride.

Thanks for the suggestion of Clove - it turns out they're in Bournemouth, only 25 miles down the road. If I had a GPS I'd probably find it first time!

OK - I might be on to a winner here...

Spoke to Clove (www.clove.co.uk) today and ordered me a bundle. I'm told it should be here in 7 days. Can't wait - new toy.

I am still cautious, however, as this is the third such bundle I have ordered. The first two retailer (large online stores) accepted the order, took my money and waited for me to pester them before telling me the bundles were discontinued.

Anyway - fingers crossed! And thanks again for the pointer.

It could be that the software was not very popular so retailers are not stocking it.
