Well! so much for my venture into the sat nav world.
My brand new ipaq (two weeks old) has to go back to HP for repair, the phone no longer works.
The question is do I have to accept a repair or should I demand a new one.

I'm not sure about one 2 weeks old, that's between you and the retailer. Unless it's changed , I think HP's poicy is to replace if more than two faults within the warrenty period. I had my US spec 5450 relpaced by Uk spec 5550 FOC.

Thanks for reply m8 will awit the outcome I have already posted a grumble in the retailers to avoid section.

have you tried hard resetting the ipaq

Just to add bought the ipaq on my credit card, probably get the bill before I get the ipaq back from Hp.
Always laboured under the impression that you were entitled to either a brand new replacement or a full refund.
