V3 maps with old map software

I guys , this is my first post in this forum , i have a iCN630 with the V2 maps , and have this software on my pc : Navman iCN630 v2.0 Desktop i1.2

I have some V3 maps here in my computer and o want to transfer them to my V2 iCN630

When i go to the Map Installer aplication and try to send the V3 maps to iCN SD CARD i got an error " map software is not activated : error code 0 (zero) "


I have activated the software with the keys that comes with the smartst case , and when i try to install the V2 maps it works correctly , but when i try to transfer the V3 maps he shows the error code 0.

Anyone knows whats the problem ?

Can i only transfer the V3 maps with the SmartST V3 , there is no other way ?

You can't use V3 maps with V2 software. I think you can use V2 maps with V3 software, but I would recommend sticking with th same versions of maps and software.
The iCN software will only load registered maps. Maps are somehow locked to a particular iCN, so if the map 'keys' for you V3 maps are not loaded onto you iCN, they still won't work, even if you somehow get them to install.
