When I had a similar problem with my old Toshiba PDA (take my advice and don't go wireless 'war-walking' in the rain !), I left it propped up in the airing cupboard for several days, after taking out the battery and the memory cards, to allow better circulation of the warm air.
There's now just the very slightest discolouration on the screen where the water was, but the touch-screen works fine. _________________ Getting older and more senile by the minute !

Got my replacement one from Apex via Ebay for a little bit less than their advertised price after mine got caught in a car door DOH
Not too difficult to replace but the screws which hold the daughtercard with the GPS chip are in rather tight with small heads and can be diffcult to remove. |
