Hi how do I add a camera to my checkpoint database. I have set the IPAQ to use the calendar button to record a camera but when I press the button on the IPAQ it simply opens up the calendar. Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

IIRC the CheckPOInt set-up for hardware recording buttons is a little confused so you may find the correct button to press is in fact one of the others! Try them all, the correct one will launch a second screen which allows you to record the speed limit in force and type of camera. _________________ Darren Griffin |

How do you mean nothing happens? I don't think you'll see the camera on screen unless you've ticked the CheckPOInt POI file for display? Any cameras you record get added to the CheckPOInt POI .ov2 file. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I too experienced the problem of recording my own cameras but cant see them on the map. I have turned Checkpoint on but there is no symbol against the POI. How do i add a graphic to the POI database?
Cheers

You can copy the Pocket_GPS .bmp file, rename it to CheckPOInt.bmp and place it in the map folder. This will then show cameras in the CheckPOInt POI database with the same Gatso icon.
Ensure CheckPOInt is ticked in the 'Show points of interest' properties within TTNav.
To see cameras in this POI you may need to soft reser after doing the above. _________________ Darren Griffin |
