Hi

Since upgrading to 6.14, my classic is experiencing problems keeping the right time. For example when switching it on, the clock may be upto 5 hours ahead of the correct time. Also when trying to sync the time the minutes will sync correctly, but the hours will not.

Any ideas, other than revert to 5.42?

Jeff

When you sync, it uses Central European time. It only checks at that moment, it doesn't stay synched.

So, minutes will be OK since time zones are changed in whole hours (mostly). You just have to adjust the hours.

If time is wrong next time you use it, there is an internal error or the battery is going flat.

The time keeping function of TT seems to be a bit flaky in V6 on the Classic. It will go for days without a hitch. Then suddenly it forgets the plot.

Whether it's the same on other Devices, I don't know.

My (long winded) solution for this was first to do a reset (stick a pin in her hole, ooh err missus), then set the time manually, finishing by pressing the 'Done' button and then to go back into 'Set Time' and press the 'Sync' button.

Seems to have worked so far.

(Typing this from memory so may have some of the 'buttons' wrongly labelled - don't have access to my ONE at the moment).
