Which bluetooth receiver for Tomtom mobile 5?

Hello all,
I have searched the forum and have no doubt that someone somewhere has already asked this but I can't find it.
I have Tomtom mobile 5 and need to get a new receiver as mine got dropped. Do I have to get a Tomtom official one, or will others work? I have seen them on Ebay for about £80 (for an official Tomtom one) but I am not sure which is best to get and how to recognise a "version 2" Tomtom bluetooth GPS over a version 1.

no any receiver will do. i'm trying to decide which to get check this thread: "Holux or Globalstat gps receivers which one to get?" just under your thread

Thanks for the reply. I wanted to check cause I was sure that Tomtom Mobile 5 (used on a Nokia N70) uses the Tomtom instead of activation. Perhaps I imagined that but I thought I ought to check before purchasing something else!
