Hi,

It appears that in each category within custom poi's it is only possible to view the top 50 that are nearest to the units current position.

i.e it will only show the nearest 50 gatsos or mobile camera locations.

Is there any way of viewing more than 50 in a single category??

I want to enter approx 100 pois into one .csv file, but would like to be able to see them all in a scroll down list on the I3 and decide which one to navigate to.

I could add them as favorites, but then I wouldn't be able to add proximity alerts etc.

Is there a way round this??

Thanks.

Sounds like you have Firmware 2.82. It works in all other versions, just not 2.82

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I regressed from 3.10 to 2.7.

I can see all the different categories of pois okay, however if for example I was to open the UK_Gatso file I will only see the nearest 50 to my location as opposed to all 3000+ in the UK.

Is there any way to view them all at the same time??

Thanks.

I could be wrong but if you put in some details (e.g. under ASDA enter town name it should filter it alphabetically.

The i3 will only display the nearest 50 POI, my unit has vs2,7 with vs8 maps loaded (I never carried on updating it due to the problems others were reporting - its stable and does what I want so I leave it alone) - I think the nearest 50 is as good as you are going to get with the i3 unless someone knows different, I have never managed to list more than this for a single POI category.

The only way I could think of to overcome this is to create your own POI file of the areas you want listed across the country, keep the quantity less than 50 in total within the single POI category and the device should list the entire lot, if you need more than 50 create a second category and place the remaining POI into this file - name them and differentiate the two files using North / South or East / West, or by town name if they are in a compact area etc - Mike

It's a limitation of the i3.
