c710 Contacts and addresses

Hi All

I have set up a number of contacts with the correct post codes etc. When I route to it from the contacts screen the system takes me to the menu screen in the map but will not display a route? I have checked the address and postcode and they are correct. So I enter the address without postcode in the map system and it creates a route to the location but tells me the postcode is different than the one that I know is correct? this is happening regularly and I am wondering is this normal??
