Mio C710 Addressbook/Outlook/Miomap sync issues

Hi all,
I have a strange problem with my Mio C710: I installed the software and synchronized the address book with my Outlook (2002). After starting up the address book on the C710, all the contacts have been synchronized and everything seems OK, the addresses have the correct format etc.

However, when I start MioMap, only a few (3-4 out of 40) have been added to my POI list, and since they are missing from the POI list I cannot use the address book to navigate to them.

I tried removing some contact from the address book at random, which sometimes causes another contact to appear in MioMap, but all in all I cannot get the stupid syncronization to work the way it was meant to.

Does anyone else have similar experiences? A solution?

I've sent an electronic request for support to Mio-Tech, but so far there is not even a hint of a reply...
