Hi I am new to this PDA I have a gps i.trek (16chanel unit) unit and a new HX4700 which had TT3 working I upgraded to TT5 and lost GPS connection had to do reset to remove any & all previous TT3 files/maps etc
THIS IS WHERE THE PROBLEM STARTS: I now cannot download any of the GPS software to the pda for gps synch with TT5. The itrek gps receiver cd is very uninformative as what to & how to download to the pda, when unzipping the files they only install to the pc >>>>HELP<<<.
when transferring any files to the pda has an error screen stating this software not compatible with this pda software.
Could I use other software? or can anyone tel me how to install
TT5 installed ok can anyone help and offer software to run the TT5.

change your i.trek to output the data in NMEA format. TTN5 doesn't understand SiRF protocol. _________________ Lutz

Hi Now I'm confused? there are no options for changing anything on the gps unit.
I have established a connection to TT-gps which shows satelites and number of channels in use but TT5 navigator does not see it & therefore does not work as it reports no GPS signal even through setup it will not work, any ideas.
I have to go to settings, d/click on gps slave to start gps then go to navigator which doesnt receive the signal into TT5??
Can anyone help or have they had similar problems
HX4700 with itrek 16ch B/tooth GPS receiver
Should I forget B/tooth
