|
|
Having upgraded from tomtom 3 to tomtom 5 I have found it very disappointing that the speed reading is so small, even when it is the only thing in the status bar and the navigation is turned of it is still only small, where as with tomtom 3 in the same situation it would be big in the middle bottom of the screen.
Is there any programs that can run over tomtom 5 to display a larger speed read out? Anyone else finding this annoying?

Hi when you say 'No' 'Not possible', do you mean that, or do you mean that it is possible but as yet nobody has used the SDK to create such overlay? |

It is not at all possible with TTN5. If and when the TTN6 SDK comes out there may be a slight chance for third party overlays. But it is nothing that can be done inside TomTom. _________________ Lutz

However, if you use the landscape view rather than the portrait, the speed indication is much larger

Ummm. If you reduce the amount of info being shown in the TT taskbar (for example remove time remaining) then the speed indicator gets bigger. Remove all others (mileage left etc) and you get a much bigger readout............. |
