Garmin location format

I want to ulpload missing camera details.
My Garmin Nuvi stores a saved location with the co-ordinates such as
N53^49.030' W001^40.628'
Can you advise me how to convert this into a format which the new camera form will accept.

form works in Decimal .. your Nuvi is Degrees and Decimal Minutes

Your after something like "51.523, -0.8123" or "51.523 N, 0.8123 W"

Simply take the minutes and Divide by 60

ie N53 49.030' W001 40.628'

becomes 49.030/60 = 0.8171 and 40.628/60 = 0.6771 than add back the Degrees, camera is at N53.8171 W001.6771
