TomTom Traffic - any good reports ???

Picked up my new TT 910 and am using the one month Traffic trial. Travelling back from Birmingham this afternoon went through two jams on M40 and M4 which the TT did not show. Where it *did* show incidents, they'd either been, or had just been, cleared up and traffic was flowing OK again.

OK, I may have been unlucky, so does anyone have any positive reports? Also, have any of you guys actually taken the plunge, paid the subscription and are actually happy with the service and would recommend it?

My only experieicne of using my traffic trial involved sitting in traffic which TT did not tell me about, but clearly knew about as when stationary waitign ot move I explored the map and the queue I was in was clearly indicated. TT may not have known a quicker way to avoid this, but if I had bene informed I knew the area well enough to avoid the hold up.
