tomtom mobile 5 help required

Hi Guys

Need some help.. ok here goes. Perhaps this is not the best place to ask.

I have an orange SPV C500 phone, which i have unlocked from network
I have a 512Mb MINI SD card for the maps
I have tomtom software from some Bittorrent search engine along with the maps, ahem, cough cough

From what i understand all i now need to do is copy the maps to my Mini SD card, and then Purchase the tom tom gps reciever?

Of course using the above method is purely for trial purpose's i promise i will go out and buy the official maps from tomtom.
