Upgrading from v2.00 to 2.24

Please help - I have downoaded TTv2.24 for my ipaq 3970 but when I click on the setup file it says 'unpacking APK files' then 'processing APK files' but after that there is nothing. The 'processing' dialogue just disappears and the updated software doesn't install. The ipaq is connected in the cradle whilst this is going on. Can anyone help please

You need to extract the files, you are probably running them within the compressed zip file, make a directory on your hard drive and extract the files (with directories) to your hard drive and run it from there.
