|
|
Hi just got my new TT510 and have noticed the clock sometime says the wrong time, I go in and set it then it soemtimes changes by its self, most odd.
I assume the "Sync" resets it to the sat clock, but for some reason it's 5 hours ahead of my UK time, how can the sync be told i'm in the UK?

I don't think that the sync function alters the hour at all - just minutes/seconds. _________________ Paul

The sync button does alter the hour but you need to have a satellite signal & v.6.020 onwards _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

My 510 had no time reset issues until I downloaded 6.11 and now it is spontaneously changing. It's happened 3 times so far. |

Make sure you have a GPS fix.
Set your clock once by syncing the clock and then adjusting for correct hours. Then exit the clock menu. Now your timezone is saved.
From now one your clock will be synced every hour with GPS clock, but including the timezone off-set. _________________ GO1005
