Do you think the sat nav on the mio will be as good as the nuvi? i fancy having the ability to watch videos etc on the mio but dont want to loose out on a good sat nav/speed camera quality.
What do you all think, is the mio worth it? |

How about an o2XDA Mini S with a BT GPS as an alternative. I considered the A701, but in the end went for the XDA and am very satisfied. |

mio A701 - it has all the other gubbins where as the Nuvi doesnt.
I have the A701 and the NUVI 310. I bought the A701 when it 1st came out, used it for about a week and got bored. The Nuvi i bought for our lass who used it once and said no thanks (both of these still have the plastic cover on the screen as in when you first buy them), both are going on eBay soon.
I bought the Mio and also purchased the Mio maps which i havent opened and the SDIO wifi card.
The Nuvi volume just isnt loud enough imho.

It is not appropriate to compare a PDA to a (locked) PND. If you don't like Mio Map there are tons of other options on the 701. With the Nuvi you are stuck. You like it or not - doesn't matter, you're stuck. _________________ Lutz
