Navigation errors?

Yesterday I went from Canterbury (Kent) to Exhibition Road in London. Interestingly it took about 10 miles of travelling before TTN2 (iPAQ2210) had worked out the route.

Went through the Blackwell Tunnel and did not go down Commercial Road as suggested. TTN2 then wanted to send me all round the Isle of Dogs before coming back to Commercial Road. Anyway I went through the Limehouse Link and TTN2 was obviously upset as I spent the rest of the journey either in the River Thames or aimlessly wandering around back streets and not guided down the Embankment!

Came home later that day and TTN2 worked absolutely spot on with no glitches at all.

Has anyone experienced this inconsistency in route finding in one direction and not the other or was I being zapped by the cloud gas from the Sun?
