I remember around Christmas time there were rumours that Garmin were about to pull the i3 which proved unsubstantiated but ... I drove a colleague to a meeting last week and he was so impressed he decided to buy one. No Halfords or Argos within a 40 mile radius (including Manchester) has one in stock!
The end of the i3??? |

Just got one last week. Argos online.... Had tried woolworths (£99) - sold out, Halfords £149 - (were prepared to price match) sold out, so eventually Argos £129 + p+p.
Have one question: What is the latest map version that the unit should have come with? I think mine has come with v7.... If this is not the most up to date, how should I go about getting the most recent? |

To be sure of the version you have loaded go to Settings/ Map/ MapSource, it should display City Navigator Europe NT+ v8 if its the latest, if it shows v7 then you need to return the Trans Flash card to Garmin for a free upgrade - Mike |

I checked up with the local Halfords here in Nottingham, and they told me they don't have any in stock and in their system the product is shown as discontinued.. The person at the shop told me the replacement is the Nuvi.
Does this mean all those problems seen in I3 in versions 2.9-3.1 will not be fixed anymore ? |
