|
|
Can anybody help me please
The auto-install for the phone (SPV C600) from the mini SD card was straightforward. However, I have tried at least 4 times with 2 different sets of CD-ROMs to install CoPilot6 on my PC with no success at all. ALK sent me a new set after I reported the problem the first time.
I keep getting a message "Instal Wizard was interrupted and no changes were made to the system". I have disabled both the Firewall and the AV software. It is a stand-alone PC and I have Administrator rights. It is Win XP Home Edition if that is relevant
Has anybody got any ideas about what is going wrong and what I might be able to do to sort it.
Cheers in advance |

Thanks for the tip but there wasn't a file of that name to be found on the system.
It gets as far as saying [Registering .... something...] and [Publishing ...something ....] and then I get the [Wizard Interrupted so no changes made] message.
I also have Spybot Search 7 Destroy and Spywareblaster on my system and thought it might be one of those stopping changes being made. Esp Spywareblaster. I have had a look at the settings in both programmes and don't think it is either of them. |

Thanks again but there is definitely no file of that name in the Windows folder.
Actually, when I did the original search I used C:\ but also ticked the box to include all sub-folders so the Windows folder would have been included |
