You will need to have the .csv version of the database.
This can be achieved by download.
In my case I down loaded the TOMTOM speed zoned files and then used the utility Poi Edit to change the file format.
To install into Destinator firstly copy the .bmp icons from your PC onto your PDA into the following location: \DestinatorApps\Destinator\UserData\Favorites
Then open the Destinator console on your PC.
Select Import Favourites
Select the first .csv file and click on convert. The console then confirms how many records have been loaded.
Then click on Download.
After the console application has finished its file copy, open Destinator your PDA.
Go into the Favourites option and you should see the new groups listed showing the correct icons.
Select the Favourite group that you wish to have alerted and shown on map by placing a tick in the box to the left of the group name.
Then click on Alerts and a screen will show asking to set the 1st and 2nd Alert Distances. Make your selection and click on done.
If you find that the correct icon is not showing next to the group try the following:
Click on Actions.
A new screen will be displayed. Select Edit Group. Then select the correct icon on the top line and click on save.
I am now sure if this process works on an PNA device as I do not have one to hand. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

Why not Select 'Other' in the SatNav Drop Down List, then you will be presented with the Option to Download in CSV Format.;) _________________ Richard

Thanks Mark, I was wondering how to do this as I'm new to Destinator. I do get a problem though. When I load a .csv file into the favorites importer and click on 'convert' I get the report 'No Data'. I'm using the downloades speedzoned .csv files. Any ideas what might be going wrong.
Thanks in advance. _________________ Regards

I had the same error when using a csv file downloaded from this site. I did not have this error when converting the .ov2 files into .csv via POI Edit. _________________ Please follow me on twitter @mdyson1968 |

I've got it sorted now, had to use the single file download from here and it worked ok. Maybe it's something to do with the small size of the individual files in the speed zoned version?? |

Does desinator 6 still take an age to load when the speedcameras are in it?

No.
This is solved since the PN 5.1.172 Update/patch. _________________ D7

This worked well on an Asus MyPal A636N - which is effectively a PNA. |
