Brightness of screen

Hi everyone,

I am looking for some feedback on a TOM TOM GO 300. I purchased my unit just over a year ago. I am not sure if its just my imagination but the brightness of the LCD screen seems to have got dimmer. It is now set on maximum ( 100 % ) brightness - yet I am sure that its not as bright as when I first purchased the unit.

Any thoughts would be welcome

You will find that the screen brightness settings have changed between software releases. I seem to recall that somewhere along the line TomTom had decided that the setting was too high and killing the backlight, and they tuned it down some.

Thanks for the reply, so unless I go back to an earlier version I will have toput up with the dimmer view !!!
