Which one is broke TomTom or the Mount ???

Good evening All
I purchased my Go500 about 2 months, extremely happy with it, although ( i'm going to contradict myself now !!! ) I can't seem to get the internal mike to work. The mobile i use is a Nokia 6230i which is supposedly recognised by TomTom. The unit recognises my mobile and vice-versa, but when i dial out i can't hear a thing, nor when anyone rings me.
Any ideas ???

Do you use it on the car mount. AFAIK it will only work if you have it on the mount.

I have since tried it on my friends mount, but the problem remains ??
