I have been using my TT910 with one of those short range FM transmitters for audio transmission to my car radion (I know don't tell me, I shouldn't) and I have found that with it transmitting on 87.50MHz the TT910 wont receive satellite signals at all.
Any one else noticed this or similar?

Your illegal FM transmitter is probably polluting the 1.5 GHz band too (that's where GPS operates). I'm pretty sure the transmitter doesn't have a FCC or CE certificate... _________________ Lutz

I know it's illegal but you have to do something wrong every now and again don't you.

Worth paying the extra for one where you can tune the FM output to one of several frequencies. |

I tried using an FM modulator with my TT and was just disappointed. Even tried the wired type. I eventually just ended up modding my car stereo for an AUX input using the CD changer contoller. Much happier with the audio quality and dont get any interference or engine noise. |
