TomTom Mobile 5 works well on my Nokia 6680.. one problem I have with my Parrot Bluetooth car kit is TomTom doesn't release the car kit after a voice instruction ...I know for a fact Route 66 does release the car kit after voice instruction as my friend has it on his Nokia 6680 ... does anyone know if there is a way to get TomTom to do the same ?? |

Just compared and we both using the same firmware, my guess is this is somehting that TomTom have missed, I can see this as the only major advantage Route 66 has over TomTom Mobile 5, of course there a number of features in TomTom that Route 66 could do with ... it's just annoying if you are on a long stretch and the voice command takes the audio from the radio then doesn't release it again... I 'd say by design this should happen and certainly Route 66 have managed to get it to work this way..
I'd be interested to find out how others are finding TomTom Mobile 5 with their bluetooth car kit particlulary if the car kit is wired through the car radio audio like the Parrot kits are... maybe it's specific to the Nokia 6680 or a general feature that TomTom have missed???? |

I have the same problem with a Nokia CK-7W and Nokia CR-27 holder dont have them running in bluetooth mode just sat in the holder. Exactly as you say it does not release the audio after the first voice command.
Is this a problem with the 6680 or tomtom? |

It must be TomTom ... my friend has Nokia 6680 and same car kit as me, he uses Roite 66 and tit does release the audio..
Only thing I managed to do is after a voice command was hit left menu key on my phone followed by right menu key (cancel) this seems to force TomTom to release the audio ... |

I have a 6630 and a Parrot CK3000 and TomTom DOES release the sound after a voice instruction... there is a delay of 2/3 seconds though |

I am running TomTom on my 6680. It does release the audio after a delay of 4/5 seconds. Only really a problem when city navigating. |
