Im trying to find or navigate to a postcode.
I put in the post code and TomTom then comes up with a screen showing the postcode. I choose this and another screen appears and so on, just like inputting an address.
Im sure that when I tried it before it just went straight to the postcode.
After all, if I knew the complete address I could input that.
Am I missing something here, or is that how it works? |

Navigate to Postcode, on page two, then enter postcode without a space. e.g. AB12CD nor AB1 2CD. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Ive tried that but still no joy.
Strange thing is that if I take the SD card from my machine and try in the better halfs it works OK and vice versa.
I think Il l just reload everthing and see what happens |

That is strange. Once I've entered a postcode I just tap Done, the destination appears on the map.
Another thought I had was maybe you hadn't put an empty folder on your SD Card and named it tomtom but then I see it works in your 'superior other half''s' unit.
Hopefully someone else will come up with other ideas. _________________ Formerly known as Lost_Property

Have you created a created a sub-folder in your device, not only on the SD card? If not go to My Documents in My Device and create a new folder named ZIP and copy the postcodes into that new folder. The size of the file is about 8.4mb. I also have a file ther named SETUP. Hope this helps. |

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.
Ive faffed around for ages moving files around and reloading the SD card.
In the end I decided enough was enough and formatted the card and reloaded TomTom and the map.
All seems OK now but it certainly has me baffled.
Just hope it stays OK |
