version 567 maps

I have TomTom Navigator v5.21 installed on my IPAQ pocket pc running WM5. However, it seems it will only recognize maps of version 567. Any ideas of how to change that or find more 567 maps?

Yes, that part is well understood, but since there seem to be several versions, how do I confirm that I am getting version 567 without buying it only to find it does not work?

The maps that came with the Tomtom 5 software you purchased will work with later versions - just install those maps and you'll be fine... Wink

TomTom refuse to publish version numbers of their maps and on the package I bought did not have any indication of the map version.

So in March I paid for GB 567 and GB Plus 571.

The version of GB Plus available from the TomTom Plus services appears to be 632 and has been since December at least.

Any purchase on physical media (CD, memory card) seems to be a lottery which TomTom always win Evil or Very Mad

Are the 'versions' of maps linked to a key?

I have version 571 but my colleague 605. I never thought about trying his maps, but is it possible (or legal) to do so?

If you get a new version of the maps, do you need a different activation key to get them working?
