tomtom go 500 update problem

Hi i have just bought a tomtom go 500 and i need a little help please.
I got it all set up very easly, cam database poi, even bluetooth paring with my nokia 6630 went well. Then after going to the tomtom site i relised there was an update from version 5.201 to 5.440 but after the upgrade my bluetooth handsfree would not work, tomtom showed i had a call, allowed me to answer it but i could not hear the caller and the caller could not hear me?. After a downgrade back to 5.201 using my backup all works well again. Any help on this would be appreciated as i realy want the update but i need B.T hansfree too.

did you try installing the update again after you downgraded?

no i didn't as the update went in ok with an (update successful) displayed at the end.

I have attached the update v5.420 for you to install on the GO 500. The update v5.440 was intended more for people with a permanent docking kit.
