Back-up favourites on i3

Is it possible to make a back-up of items in my favourites on the i3

Sorry if this has been dealt with before but I can’t find it

Beware, though - if you save your POIs back to the i3 - it tends to randomly capitalise their names for some odd reason. Not a major issue, though - Great free package!

This is being corrected and an update of Easygps is being released w/b 27.3.2006...watch their website...

Yes but I think only if you're running Windows 2000 or XP, nothing before.

I've gone into easy GPS and backed up Favourites. I've added some more and changed the titles. Trying to save back to the i3, nothing happens.

I can still upload, and a waypoint deleted from easy gps comes back, so communication with i3 is OK. Anyone know why it does not write new waypoints back to i3?

(am using latest easyGPS software)

Hi attic..

I don't have a problem with EasyGPS 2.3.1...

Try rebooting.
Try saving the file before you upload to the i3.
Try using the right click context menu, on the amended or new waypoint, to "send Waypoint to GPS". Using this you don't have to upload all of your favourites only the amended ones.

It updates my i3 in real time...I can be watching the i3 screen and upload an amended waypoint and it updates immediately. Obviously using Win XP Home sp2 and all updates.
