Is there anyway to change the voices on the navman icn 520, i.e english instead of the us voices?

I know u can change them on the tom tom units just wondered if you cud with the icn series.

Yes, you certainly can change the accent. It is not possible to load custom voices.

It depends where in the World you are. The US voice includes the phrase "zip code" where the English voice uses "post code". So if you live in North America the US voice is appropriate.

Go to Main Menu / Prefences / Language and you should be able to select the English accent

Hi,

Thanks for that nortonbeak, i've had a look at the language settings and i only have the us voices installed so i'll have to see if i can find out how to get the english ones loaded onto it.

Hi Jameshunt:

Try the following. Preferences / More Preferences/ Startup/ Now check the Language Selection Screen option. Restart the unit and you should get a screen with several national flags. Choose the language you want there. You may then need to go back to preferences / Language and choose your new language.
