Hi all,
Have only just joined your group and have also just bought a streetpilot i3. I`m afraid that I am having problems downloading the speed cameras data, I have installed the poi loader but am having problems finding the right file to download and also not sure what to do with it when i do find it.
Have seen a message on here regarding i3`s for dummies but it was dated 2005.
Could someone please explain in idiot talk, how I go about this please and how to open file / where to put it etc.
I apolagise for this but it doesnt make all that much sense at present.
Have you unzipped the file?, having done so, put the file somewhere where you know it is, ie withen a folder on your 'c' drive, open up POI loder, then browse to where you stored the unzipped files.
Tip here, each time you upload the camera database (actually they are really POI's) you overwite the last POI's set in the i3, so include all of the POI's that you want in the same folder & upload in one go.

I had downloaded the right file, I think !, into my documents , then I clicked to open and there was a hell of a lot of files in there.....to be quite honest I was totally stumped, I havent installed any poi`s on my i3 as yet, as I said have only just bought it . I have now deleted all those files
as I thought I had downloaded the wrong thing. Basically I`m scared of cocking something up and would like some assistance this first time round.
