Hi,
I just bought a Magellan TomTom gps pack for my M515. The TomTom CityMaps and Routeplanner apps work fine off the Palm memory, but will not work from the SD card. I can however, work the MapViewer software I also bought with the pack on the SD card with no problems.
With only 15M resident memory in the Palm, I'm quickly running out of room to run the TomTom stuff exclusively on it.
On TomTom's suggestion I installed PiDirect II and FileZ but no luck. TomTom haven't replied yet to my followup about this not working. I'm not sure they have a solution.
Has anyone found a proven solution for this challenge yet?

I have an M515 with navman gps500, and a similar problem to you.
I have installed zlauncher on my M515 and whilst it is a "workaround" I found that using zlauncher, i could load my maps and progs onto the m515 and then . "move them" to the SD card.
I have 3 SD cards, GB, France, & Spain.
Downside is that it takes about 1 minute (dependent on how many maps/cities are loaded for the m515 to transfer from card to memory , before you can start to run the program.
Hope i am not falling foul of any rules , when I list zlauncher website.

It works for me, hope it may work for you
zlauncher is truly an awesome application - it is a fullblown replacement for your default system launcher and has loads of other incredibly useful features besides launching from card. Highly recommended...
However, if you want to just move apps to card and launch from there, you could look at powerrun instead - does this but not much else.
