Navman software on PDA's?

Hi folks,

I had my car broken into last week and my Navman 510 stolen from the glovebox... I'm looking to buy a replacement device, but realise I still have the original Navman Software and original 128Mb SD card safe at home (I'd put a 1Gb card in my Navman).... So I still own the software and it's license. Can I just buy an off the shelf PDA with a GPS unit and put my Navman software on that? or does anyone know if I can buy and 'empty' Navman 510 and put my software back on it?

I think you'll find that the licence is tied to the device ID of the stolen unit. The software won't work on a PDA AFAIK.

Had a result though... Local police caught the thieving scum bag pikey gits and I got my Navman back!!!
