Hi my i3 works great for about 45 min to an hours then looses signal. If I leave it off for a few hours (without changing battteries) and turn it on again it works perfectly! I use 2500 NiMi batteries and the cable. Anyone any suggestions before I return it to Garmin? I have just updateds the software but was previously using Vrs 2.5. I haven't tried the unit since updating the software. |

Have you changed the settings on your i3 to the NiMi battery setting? _________________ TomTom Go 910 (3) v.6.522 Map Western Europe v.650 with useless TMC receiver

Yes I have changed the settings to NiMi and I am using 2500 Ni Mi batteries. The batteries indicator on the unit says 4 bars when the signal is lost as well! Its like the unit ‘overheats’ after its been on a certain time. |
