Does anyone else have this problem...
Speaking personally I have so much to take with me out of the car I'm in need of a handy carrier for everything I've got. It's made worse by the fact I'm a salesman on the road so I'm in and out of the car sometimes 20 times a day! My problem is that when I get out of the car I have to take with me my Bluetooth receiver, my PDA, the mobile, the wallet, my headunit and of course my car keys. With all this in my hands I'm having to kick the car door shut! Thank God I've got remote central locking!
I know, it sounds like a winge, or perhaps even a pointless post. However, if anyone has thought of a quick, neat and easy solution to get as many things as this packed up and out the car in one go, let me know. Perhaps there are some specific holdalls for all these gadgets. Any other high road users out there with a solution? No 'try a Tesco's bag' comments please!
Because a bag is an 'accessory' I thought this was the best place for this post. Admin..Please move if necessary. |

There are indeed special bags for these gadgets.
Dave (PocketGPS staff) uses Roadwired's Pod. I use its bigger brother, the Podzilla (no - I'm not taking the rise). Take a look here for the thread that references Dave's Pod review - and for my comments about Podzilla and what I can get in it!
Unfortunately I still haven't got round to photos of my setup. I'm still delighted with Podzilla, though.

I'd like to see some photos when you get round to it. Might also see if we can get a Podzilla in to review when we clear some of these GPS Receiver reviews. |

Thanks guys, it looks great but I needed something big enough to hold A4 sized paper as well. My job an' all!! I should have made that clear.
Went for a Lowepro Stealth Reporter in the end. Pricey but exceptional quality. Perhaps some other members of pocketgpsworld.com would be interested in this? Especially those who carry laptops or paperwork as well.
I went for the smaller version of this one...
One of these to hold SD cards as well...
The bags are made from ballistic nylon, whatever that is! In built storm cover as well. |
