How do I convert Lat/Long coordinates into a csv number that my i3 will understand
eg 374818N 004500W |

Your examples are not latitude/longitude, they would read more like:
N52:43:36 ( 52.726605 )
W2:44:09 ( -2.735724 ).
I think you may have some form of Ordnance Survey grid.
If you only have a few things to convert then type almost any reference into Streetmap.co.uk and under the map is a thing that says something like click to measure co-ordinates. You can get your latitude/longitude from the chart that comes up.
Once you have your list you can enter them into POIedit (you can find links for that on this site) manually and simply save them as a Garmin.csv file this will put it into the right format etc.
If you have lots to do you can put it into something like Notepad in the following format:
-5.1227,50.16351,Asda Falmouth,TR10 9LY
-4.77358,50.33575,Asda St. Austell,PL25 4PR
and save it as a .CSV file.
