Hi, on installing the drivers on the PDA from the CAB file a warning appears saying the PDA OS is not supported and therefore the s/w may not work.

After 'successful' installation and restarting, the comno.exe tool which should return the virtual comport returns a registry error.

Can anyone help me? Is it possible to update the OS on my old PDA?

I find it odd Globalsat say the E-400 is supported when it seems otherwise.

Any help much appreciated! Smile

After updating the OS to 2k3 Second Edition, using alternative drivers provided by globalsat US website, nothing worked.

I am returning the item, but I'm sure if it had worked it would've been excellent.

A warning to anyone who wants to buy this receiver and has an E400.
