GPSCycleMaster - Phone based GPS application

Hello,

Over the past few months I have been developing a Freeware GPS app that I hope you will all be interested in.

It runs on Series 60 Nokia mobile phones and requires a Bluetooth GPS receiver.

Initially it was designed for use with a bicycle. But recently I have been using it on walks and in the car.

What can it do (Good things)?

* Shows your position in real-time on a map (can download maps, via GPRS, when you are lost; and download maps using a PC when you aren't)

* Shows your speed/altitude and other stats on a nice graph

* Creates a GPX log file to use in Google Earth, Memory Map etc (See how far/how fast you really went)

What doesn't it do (Bad things)?

* Isn't waterproof

* Flattens your phone battery in three hours

Just trying this now. The get a map application doesn't work because I access the internet through a proxy and your application attempts to access the web directly with no option for configuring a proxy.

Can I use other maps, such as those in memory map?

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
