thinking of getting a Garmin Streetpilot i3 to replace my stolen navman 520 is there any thing i should now about the Garmin Streetpilot i3 eg bugs ,problems with sat lock ,lockup ,how good are the maps ,well any thing all .the price is the main factor at the monent £158 at asda less staff discount meens £142 .
has any one used one in a HGV ?
any comments about the Garmin Streetpilot i3 good or bad please |

Pocketgps what can i say i have spent all night reading post about the Garmin StreetPilot i3 i think i now the unite a little better (a lot better ) and i still mis things ,what can i say thank you ,you help is very welcome and appreciated |

i found that help full two as i am a newbie thanks mate just a quick question i downloaded all the poi's and put them in a folder just two things it says to deleate the attractions csv folder but it doesent seem to be in there also what is the camrename ms-dos batch file for do i need it or just deleate it thanks mate |

On the lastest version of MaFt's files he has already deleted the attractions file, the instruction to delete it is for people with the older version.
I don't know what the camrename file is but I have left it there and it doesn't seem to do any harm.

the CamRename.bat file is a short script that changes the name of the PGPSW speed cam files so they end up at the bottom of the list and work with the bitmaps in my zip download. right-click and select 'edit' if you want to check that that is all it does.
