Does anyone know what I get with an upgrade CD bought from Peugeot, for the VDO system in a 2002 607? This is the software upgrade CD (about £25), NOT the map update, which I know about and can buy separately.
Does it add any features, or is it simply bug fixes etc?

Have you tried contacting your local dealer?
Failing that, a call to VDO might get you some contact details for the correct supplier... |

Thanks Swing. Yes, I contacted my dealer, and they can give me a price but can't tell me what changes are on the disk!
As it's only £25.00, I've ordered one on the assumption that it's bug fixes/quicker calculation only. That way I'll be pleasantly surprised if it has any new features!
I'll report back when I know what it includes.

Picked up my 607 last week and mine is also very slow as calculation
Pain in the &&** having been used ot a very quick tomtom 300 |

Well, huge dissapointment!
The disk says version 5.00 on the packaging (no other numbers).
It's only when you insert the disk that you get to see what the installed verion number is, which reports version 3.1 for the computer (I assume a kind of OS), and version 15 for the navigation software. It then also tells you the version numbers on the disk, which are exactly the same! No mention at all of version 5!
Mine is a 2002 607, and as far as I can tell (I have all the reciepts), the software was never updated by the previous owner, so Peugeot have sold me an update CD that doesn't update anything!
Back to the dealer for a fight (everythings a fight with this particular dealer) I guess.
